Hi! My name’s Douglas, and you’ve found my blog on the internet.

A bit about myself: I’ve had a keen interest in IT as long as I can remember, which brought me to my uni degree, a Bachelor of Information Technology (Business Systems) at UniSA in Adelaide, South Australia.

After a brief stint in working for a medium sized company doing IT in Victoria, I moved back to South Australia to be closer to family (as this was largely during the COVID pandemic).

I work in my home town as a computer tech at TDRS, providing day to day support as well as dealing with issues surrounding Office 365, Google Workspace and other business technology solutions.

Prior to 2019, I was a member of the Lenovo Insiders program, an advocacy group set up by Lenovo to promote their brand throughout the community. Prior to then, there were a few posts about Lenovo in the blog – the opinions stated in these posts, and indeed any other on this blog, are my own and not those of Lenovo or my other employer unless otherwise stated.
